Towering over one of the busiest intersections in the city the Scott Building has been a Victoria landmark since its construction in 1912. Once a dignified example of early 20th century architecture, the building had been remodelled several times over the last century and had lost much of it’s original grandeur when purchased by Three Point Properties in 2004.
Having been neglected over the years, tenant occupancy was in severe decline and without intervention further decline was imminent as existing leases were left un-renewed. Three Point Properties initiated a comprehensive multi-million dollar, award-winning rebuild which saw nearly all interior spaces renovated, a new heating and cooling system installed, a new grand entranceway built, and the exterior façade restored to much of its former glory. Within months of beginning renovations, Three Point Properties had attracted new, top-tier tenants to the building and had achieved 100% occupancy by the time the building was sold to its new owners.
