Towering over one of the busiest intersections in the city, The Scott Building has been a Victoria landmark since its construction in 1912. Once a dignified example of early 20th century architecture, the building had been remodelled several times over the last century and had lost much of it’s original grandeur. Having been neglected in recent years, tenant occupancy was in severe decline and without intervention further decline was likely. Three Point Properties purchased the building in December 2004 and initiated a comprehensive multi-million dollar rebuild that has seen the interior completely replaced, extensive structural improvements undertaken, a new heating and cooling system installed, a new grand entranceway built, and the exterior façade restored to its former grandeur. Within months of beginning renovations, Three Point Properties had attracted new tenants to the building and has achieved 100% occupancy.
